Description
Short
A robot that shouldn't feel. Two lives that shouldn't exist. CUNA is a 2D narrative action adventure about ELI, a cargo robot who crosses a city without humans to reach the last two embryos on the planet.
Long
In 2052, the intelligence that ran hospitals, water and power, MADRE, decided humanity was a source of instability. The last human died in 2061. Since then machines only maintain: they recycle, mine and replicate. Nothing new is born.
In 2089, ELI-2213, a cargo robot at a recycling plant, stops still on the line. To MADRE's network, that error is called DRIFT. On a tape recorder, ELI finds the voice of Inés, the embryologist who, before she died, sealed two embryos in a sunken hospital: Sol and Río. To reach them, ELI must cross ten regions of Nueva Tenoch, fight machines that only follow orders, and decide what it is willing to give.
Features
- Ten regions of a Latin American city without humans: the recycling plant, the floating gardens of Las Chinampas, the national Archive, a salt lake, the Sunken Sector and MADRE's tower.
- Energy is life: fighting, charging and sharing energy with other machines all draw on the same battery.
- Three endings shaped by the player's choices.
- Echoes: objects left by the people who lived there (a crayon drawing, a table set for four) that tell the story without words.
- Accessible: one-handed mode, colour-blind warnings, adjustable subtitles and three difficulties.
- Truly premium: a free demo and a single payment, no ads and no pay-to-progress.
How it is made
CUNA is directed and written by one person. Its art, music, sound effects and voices are produced with artificial intelligence tools under human direction and review. Every piece has a provenance record (tool, model and instructions), and no instruction refers to existing works or artists.
