Terms and conditions
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms govern the use of the website cunagame.app and of the video game CUNA (the "Game") for iPhone, iPad and Android. CUNA is a work by Cristhian Hernandez Romero (the "Owner"), based in Mexico. For anything related to these terms, write to contact@cunagame.app.
1. Acceptance
By using this website, or by downloading, installing or playing the Game, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or the Game.
2. The website
The website is informational. It does not sell anything directly and asks for no registration. Links to the App Store and Google Play lead to third-party stores with their own terms.
3. License to use the Game
The Owner grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Game on the devices linked to your Apple or Google account, for entertainment and non-commercial purposes. The Game is licensed, not sold. In addition to these terms, the terms of the store where you got it apply (for example, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement or the Google Play Terms of Service). Where those terms and these conflict on store matters, the store's terms prevail.
4. Price, purchases and refunds
- The prologue and level 1 are free. The full game is unlocked with a one-time purchase inside the app. The current price is the one the store shows in your country and includes applicable taxes.
- The Game has no ads, no other purchases and no pay-to-progress mechanics.
- Payments are processed by Apple or Google. The Owner never receives or stores your payment details.
- Refunds follow the policy of the store where you bought the Game. You can recover a purchase made with the same account from Restore purchase inside the Game.
5. What is not allowed
- Copying, redistributing, reselling, renting or sublicensing the Game or parts of it.
- Decompiling, disassembling or reverse engineering the Game, except to the extent applicable law expressly allows.
- Extracting the Game's art, music, voices or texts to use them outside the Game.
- Using the Game or the website for unlawful purposes or to harm others.
You may share screenshots, videos and streams of your play on social networks and video platforms, including monetized ones, as long as it is clear the content is from CUNA and it is not presented as official.
6. Intellectual property
The Game, its story, characters, names (including CUNA, ELI, MADRE and Nueva Tenoch), art, music, voices, texts and code, and the content of this website, belong to the Owner or are used under license. App Store is a trademark of Apple Inc. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.
7. Content made with artificial intelligence
CUNA's art, music, sound effects and voices are produced with artificial intelligence tools under human direction and review. Every piece has a provenance record (tool, model and instructions), and no instruction refers to existing works or artists.
8. Age rating
The Game is meant for ages 12 and up. It contains violence between machines, themes of loss and death, and no sexual content.
9. Availability, updates and warranty
The Owner may update the Game to fix errors or improve it. The Game is provided "as is", with no warranties beyond those required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by consumer protection laws in your country.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Owner is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the website or the Game. Where applicable law does not allow this limitation, it applies only to the extent allowed.
11. Privacy
How data is handled is explained in the Privacy policy.
12. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be published on this page with its date. If the change is significant, we will also announce it inside the Game before it applies.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of Mexico, without prejudice to your right to turn to the consumer protection authorities of your country.
The Spanish version of these terms is the original; this translation is provided for convenience.
